"the room we were given was very noisy and we did not realize it until we tried to sleep. There were huge trucks down shifting all night making it impossible to sleep. The matress was so worn that we kept ending up in the middle and my husbands back hurt so much that he finally gave up sleeping at 4;30 am. Whe we told the staff at the desk they only said "oh, sorry."

Built in 1833, the restored Green Mountain Inn is situated in the heart of historic Stowe Village, approximately 24 miles from Burlington International Airport. Within 40 miles, guests will find Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Shelburne Farm & Museum, golf courses, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, and the Vermont Stage Company.

The inn features a year-round outdoor heated pool, full service health club, Jacuzzi, sauna, afternoon tea & cookies, and game room. Other amenities include DVD players and DVD rentals, and seasonal badminton, volleyball, and croquet. Breakfast is served 7 days a week from 7:30am to 10am in the Main Street Dining Room and patrons can enjoy dinners at the Whip Bar & Grill.

Guest rooms are furnished with early American decor and feature full private baths, telephones, cable TVs, A/C, and hairdryers.
